Based on a piece from the collections of the Dumbarton Oaks Research Library. this pin can also be worn as a pendant! The abstract and complex design of this crocodile pin is from an archaeological area of the so-called Intermediate Area. largely coinciding with the modern-day Panamanian province of Coclé. 

Made of gold-finished pewter. the piece measures 3 long. Made in USA.
